Electrical and Computer Engineering Research

The Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECEN) faculty have distinguished achievements in both theoretical and applied research covering several key disciplines including wireless communications, mobile computing, information security, signal analysis, genomics, configurable computing, intelligent control systems, mechatronics, energy conversion and fuel cells, and robotic tools for oil & gas exploration. The research achievements of our faculty are renowned world wide through publications in high quality archival journals and several best paper awards in prestigious international conferences. Our faculty are engaged in several funded research collaboration projects with major industrial and governmental agencies in Qatar and research institutions around the globe.
