ECEN Student Board

The Electrical and Computer Engineering Program Students Board is constituted of a mix of elected IEEE officers and selected students by the faculty. The students on the board act as a "bridge" between the students and the faculty members by meeting some of them on a regular basis to discuss issues related to teaching, laboratories, and course scheduling. The student board members coordinate with the IEEE Student Chapter some tutoring activities among students. The student representatives in the board for the 2008-2009 academic year are:

Seniors: Hamad Al-Suwaidi, Ghalya Abdelkader, Sajidul Amin
Juniors: Sultan Al-Muraikhi and Nadiya Noorudeen
Sophomores: Wael Halbawi and Abdullah Al-Qatami
